I just discovered this delightful concoction this afternoon. I rarely drink liquor but these are incredible.

That does sound good. Only, I want mine with a little more Jameson, and a little less Lemonade (like none), please.

Dude, no joke. I read the thread title and said to myself, "that sounds delightful." I realize that makes me sound like a gay but I thought it was worth sharing after reading your post. :)

I always called something like that a John Daly.

It's like an Arnold Palmer ... only an alcoholic. :D

Arnold Palmer with a couple shots of Absolut Citron is pretty good. I also think AP now sells a drink with alcohol already in it.

We, as Lewis Black would say, are not alcoholics. We, and his hat is off, are professionals.

No need to count. Look at the total number of members and subtract 2. That should be just about right.

What kind of lemonade did you mix it with? Some already made generic shit in a gallon jug or some country time that you have to mix?

Better question.....Does it even matter?

I always understood John daly's to be Sweet Tea flavored Vodka (Firefly preferrably) and lemonade.

Ha. It was some Country Time my kid made yesterday and had in the fridge. Christ I will be headed to a meeting soon.

In all honesty I had been outside in the cold all day, got home and thought a nice shot of whiskey would warm me up from the inside out. The lemonade was the only thing we had to mix it with. Three drinks later my face was a nice rosey color and I was warm all over.

Gin and lemonade is a good mix as well. If I'm mixing Jameson with anything, it's ginger ale.
