Jim Boeheim (Syracuse, 847) and Jim Calhoun (Connecticut, 835) have combined for a cool 1682 victories. They meet again tonight in Storrs on ESPN.

Syracuse has never lost five games in a row under Boeheim, but face that possibility tonight. The Orangemen haven't tasted victory since January 15th while Connecticut is coming off a stinging double-overtime home loss to Louisville.

Connecticut jumped out to a 9-2 lead early, forcing some Syracuse turnovers and now lead, 14-8, halfway through first half.

A 1-point halftime lead for the Orange.

I'll take it.

Syracuse ends up with a eight-point, BIG win on the road.

Huge win for the Orange. Definitely more than just a "W" in the win column for this team. THEY needed that.

As I stated earlier in the season, Triche is the X-factor. His supplemental and timely scoring is necessary at this point. And the zone is slowly but surely getting back to early season form. I love CJ Fair's game. He and Waiters provided a boost tonight but Fair is definitely becoming a player. Jackson was solid as always. They're at South Florida Saturday afternoon. Gotta keep it going. GO 'CUSE!

Jardine really played well over the final minutes, and defensively the Cuse returned to form a bit.
Should be a confidence builder in advance of a one game respite of sorts @South Florida

Scoop's uncle take the under? ;)

I dreaded this game for the Huskies because of the zone. They struggled against it when they played Louisville on Saturday and expected more of it for tonight. Kemba hasnt been playing like himself for the past few games but the freshmen have been played well. I really wish the post players would step up.
