It’s still too early to know if Chipper Jones will make it all the way back from knee surgery, but the Braves veteran showed Tuesday he still can literally knock the cover off the ball.

He also said today that he will be in the lineup opening day. Fredi Gonzalez said he has gone through about 50 different lineup combinations in his head and each one has Chipper batting third.

Everyone thinks Chipper is the All America guy. I lived in Atlanta during his younger years when he had the 18 month affair while married. He had an a son with his Hooters waitress girlfriend and tried keeping this all from his wife. Dude aint all he is cracked up to be.

All I care about is he is one helluva baseball player.

One of my all time favs. To tear up his knee early after being a top pick he still rebounded to have a HOF career.

btw..I hit the cover off the ball a few times as well.

...but it was on RBI baseball on nintendo i think.......or was it on Little League World Series on nintendo...i forget.
