I like to bash the Steelers as much as the next guy. I am still going to bet on them in the SB. Why would Goodell make these statements to SI at this point in time? It hurts the image of the entire brand (NFL). This guy just fucked up, big time for his league. They already have PR issues coming up with the pending labor issues.

Speaking of Peter King....he picked a Green Bay-Pittsburgh Super Bowl in the preseason.
Interesting. A veteran writer makes a grammatical error to this level? Editors and fact checkers didnt follow through? More likely, the NFL tells him to squash the story or he wont get squat for sources the rest of his career. Goodell fucked this one up.
