I don't think I've had either. I usually stick to their upper end stuff. Speaking if which I had another Creme Brulee on tap last night. Really liking it on tap.

I ended the night with 3 or so Bells Expedition Stout. I so looked forward to it this year as it is one of my favorite stouts. Let me down just a little as I didn't get the coffee in it as much as i did the Speedway and FBS. I'll still drink it, but at 17.99 a sixer I'm not sure how much. Makes me look forward to their Java Stout.

On a side note I will be helping brew a FBS clone next weekend. My boss and another worker will be going to his house to kick it off. He's brewed quite a few Brown Ales, but never a stout...and a stout that will have double fermentation. ( one chocolate then a coffee fermentation) Hopefully it will be ready in a month and be good.

Anyone a fan of Columbus Brewing Co? I have only had two of their brews, but I found both fantastic. Their IPA can be found throughout Columbus and parts of NE Ohio and its fantastic. Bodhi is their DIPA and its even better but up until now has only been available on draft. But according to a comment on their Facebook page, it appears Bodhi will be hitting shelves in bottles in Jan/Feb. very excited!

If there's anyone in Cincinnati who hasn't had their IPA I'll try to bring some down after Thanksgiving and you can have a bottle. (Curly J I owe you one anyways for the KBS you gave me!)

Speaking of which, we should have an OC beer snob meetup in Cincinnati some time. Maybe at Dutchs in Hyde Park since they're probably the best craft beer only bars in Cincinnati.

Never had it but that's what I've heard about their IPA. People who've had it on beeradvocate said it can hang with any other IPA out there.

Works for me. I've never been there. Have you heard Arthurs has gone all local on their taps.

422 not bad. I like higher ABV beers (this is 5.8), but it's tasty. Pale wheat ale.

Started brewing my first triple today, with getting the starter going. Also made my own belgian candied sugar to put in, never done that before so curious to see how it turns out.
