I talked to one Bobcat back in spring and he thought Waynedale would the hardest team to beat so they will come out fired up.Bobcat3;910593 wrote:My over-confidence is my weakness, I hope they do give the Cats a game because they do need to play 4 quarters.

Why would he wake up his dreaming? How does one even do that?Paul;911263 wrote:Wake up your dreaming, Bobcats Stalk.

Dalton fans complain about a 42-12 score. How do you think the Chipp fans felt in 2009 when the Dawgs beat them 71-26 or Northwestern in 2004...a 63-7 Dalton victory.
This seems like a clear cut case of "It's ok for us to do it....but don't do it to us"
The real irony here is....it came at the hands of Hillsdale. A team that has taken more 30-40-50-60 point beatdowns than anyone in the league over the past 40 years.
Look at Keith Schrock, coached the Smithies to an 80-6 victory over New London in 2002. He'll end up in the local HOF.
And speaking of Hall of Famers, Mo Tipton used to "run it up" quite a bit.
This year, Norwayne is going to issue a few more 40+ spankings and not feel a bit bad about it. I remember when they got destroyed by Danville 69-9.
My point here is, Running up the score is a part of the game, it's not a glowing example of sportmanship, but everyone is guilty of it at one time another. Should there be some kind of mercy rule to curb it? I vote no. Football doesn't need any more rules. Its got enough.
Its about time...Dennis was awful so far this season and would be a solid receiverthedemoralizer7;911312 wrote:finally some good news from indian land! tyler hooser may be taking some snaps at QB this friday! its about time!
You do if you want to give other team good field position and but in Jv. Like at Westeren Reserse when Bobcats was on their own 30 with 4th and 20 and they went for it and gave the ball to WR and then sent in JV under pressure. Bobcats Stalk!Bobcat3;910602 wrote:35-40 Points. Norwayne did a much better job against Rittman calling off dogs then in Northwestern game....you don't onside kick (or pooch kick as Harbour said it was..:thumbdownwhen you are up 40.
This is what it takes to win. That never changes.oldsmithie;911533 wrote:This group of young men have put in a lot of work in the off season and it is paying off.
It's how you do it red, those butt whoppins we put on rittman and the chips, well we couldn't help but score. Even our JVs scored. Who mentioned new rules? I think it's just an opinion, right?Red Rum;911433 wrote:I can't say I really understand all the "running up the score" talk.

JV and such were running the ball and scoring at will. You can blow a team out and still play with respect.
