Looking forward to my boy Diaz collecting another victory. Should be a good fight though, I see it ending in a ko for Diaz. 10pm on Showtime.

Great fight to watch. The whole card reminded me of how far the strikeforce is behind the ufc. The fights were definitely entertaining but the overall talent was not.

I agree but Nick is the class of Strikeforce. Just wish him and Dana would bury the hatchett so Nick could whip on some dudes in the UFC.

Diaz is good and would be top tier at ww in the ufc but GSP would kill him 9 out of 10 times.

The only way GSP beats Diaz is by outwrestling him and lay and pray, which is what would happen if those two fought. Same with guys like Fitch and Koscheck. Those guys try and grind out decisions by out wrestling their opponents and laying and praying, Diaz comes to fight and finish fights. Would love to see it happen though

Great post. I would love to see Diaz vs GSP be an all out war. Diaz is my favorite fighter because he is a fighter. He literally stands 2 feet away fists flying love that shit.

You can't be serious. See while I love watching all things mma this is what happens when a good fighter like Diaz goes to a lesser organization and beats up on has beens and never will bes. He looks amazing and looks like he'd kill everyone.

Lets not forget that Diaz lost 3 of his last 5 in the ufc. Sherk, Riggs, and Sanchez all beat Diaz and none of them were ever on gsp's level.

Diaz would have a Serra like chance against gsp and that's really it.

What's next jacare would beat Silva?

Please tell me what fighter he has beat in strikeforce or elitexc that shows he has got so much better.

Its a laundry list of has beens (shamrock ) and never will bes (Cyborg ).

He's winning so he can't be getting worse. Not like he is winning by judges scorecard he is putting the hurting on these dudes.
Now let me have my Nick Diaz moment and ya'll can talk about the UFC. One day maybe he will be back in the UFC.
Jacare aint bad either just sayin :)

He lost decisions to wrestlers which i already stated he would lose to GSP by decision. To be honest he won both the Sherk fight and Diego fight, he did way more damage on those guys but the scoring system is set up that if you get top position you will win rounds, regardless if you do any damage or not. The judging system needs changed honestly and I think most would agree with that. I feel like there is a lot of pressure on guys in the UFC to win,and most will take less chances (lnp) so that they don't lose and get cut. Also, casual fans think that if you're not in the UFC that you're not an elite level fighter, this is not true. There are a ton of guys out there who can compete with those guys, hell strikeforce has way more talent at heavyweight than UFC does. As for Nick, he is on another level right now than he ever has been, he has also said that he understands what judges are looking for the win rounds and can see why they though he lost those decisions, if he ever comes back to the UFC I think we will see a different Nick Diaz. Still, imo, a top 3 WW.

I am actually a big fan of Diaz and a huge fan of jacare but I am also realistic in the level of competition they are currently fighting in strikeforce.

If the browns went and beat up on 9 college teams in a row we wouldn't call them super bowl ready would we?
