If I am taking a one day trip (be in the city for like 18 hours) what city would you suggest?

Are you looking for actual suggestions or is this a hypothetical?

Sorry I didn't specify, but it has to be in the US. I don't have my passport.

Actual suggestions. I can get cheap flights until June and a friend and I were looking to do a one day trip this weekend.

+1 ... because after visiting the coffee shops, you feel like you have been there a week!

Exactly. I was there for 3 days and barely made it out alive!

In the US....definitely Vegas.

Gotcha. Given cities I have been to before I'd go to Portland. I'd recommend Chicago but assuming you are in Ohio you can easily drive there so it would be a waste of a cheap flight.

We actually talked about going to Chicago. The flight would be cheaper than driving from Cincinnati.

Really? Must be pretty cheap flights as it's only 600 miles round trip.

Also, what part of Cincinnati are you in? We could be neighbors.

Clifton area. I am a student at UC. We didn't look up all the flight prices yet, but a round trip to NYC was $58.

Ah, cool. My wife works admissions at UC. $58 roundtrip is dirt cheap, how did you find such a good deal?

Depends what you're into, but Chicago, San Antonio, and Seattle are all fun.
