How much did your wedding bands cost? I see prices all over the place from $100 each to a couple grand each. Just trying to get an idea of what the "average" is.

I really shouldn't say much though, jewelery of any kind to me is of little value. DeBeers hates me.

If you're looking for just a plain solid band I think $500 is plenty, if not more than plenty. By your description of the engagement ring, I think that is enough and adding to that would be redundant.

Yeah, her engagement ring is just a 1 carat on a plain band. So I think a plain white gold band would be perfect

I gave her my mom's old engagement ring/wedding band combo. I like the sentimental stuff (and not to mention HATE the price of jewelry).

I didn't want to wear a band, so we went a little more on mine to get a comfortable one that she thought I'd wear. Can't say how much it was, I forget, but I think it was between $200-300.

I can't find a picture on my facebook, but I have a yellow gold band with 2 rows of diamonds and it was right around $600

My wife has a 1/2 carat yellow gold solitare with a 2 row diamond wrap and it was like 1600. She has 2 wedding bands (1 soldered to the bottom like traditional and an identical band that she can wear by itself or with the soldered ring) that are yellow bands with a single row of diamonds. Those were like 250-300/piece.

You can find something flashy for you and the wife for decent prices if you really want it.

I'll try to find a pic and post it.

I think the total price for both of ours was something like $87. Both are titanium, which works out well for me because the base joint of that finger is developing arthritis.

Mine was 100 and hers was 500. The jackass at the jewelry store wanted me to get this diamond studded across ring.

I also went with a titanium band for myself (similar to this but with the polished finish instead of the matte finish) I think it was about $90 and she got some plain silver band that was basically for the ceremony because her engagement ring was a custom piece that looks like an engagement and wedding set.

Mine is white gold so it was about 300-500 back in the day. I just went with the first one I could stand to have on my finger. Those titanium and tungsten ones can be quite uncomfortable. I think I spent about 1000 on hers but it had diamonds and what not in it. I also bought hers the same time I got the engagement ring because they were a set.

Mine was $100, hers was $75. It's just a band. Now, her engagement ring was much more expensive.

WHO TF wants to marry you, LJ!?
