Just picked up 2 of these using 2 different email addresses. Thought some of you might be interested. Pretty much free money if you shop at Amazon. Amazon just purchased Living Social so they are trying to get more people interested and compete with Groupon.

Just bought one under my name, and one under my wife's...and I'll be using both of them.
With 8 hours to go, they have sold 1,190,981 of these. About $1.2 million in sales on this in one day? That's pretty ridiculous!

I read something a couple weeks ago that during Black Friday, Amazon posted a sale every couple of seconds. <--- Ridiculous.

Ok so it still isn't active?? When do you get this? Like I said I never used this before yesterday so I am not sure totally how it works. I thought I would receive an email today with the claim for the gift card and in my living social account is states the gift card is not active yet and can't be claimed?

I'm wondering when I'll receive this Amazon email too. I did already receive Living Social spam offering a deal on anti-aging cream. Thinking we got scammed possibly?

No, the site is legit. When you signed up it automatically enrolls you in the daily email (i.e. an email of the daily deal). You can log in to your account and turn the emails off if you want.
But, I haven't received my amazon giftcard yet either. FFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!

I got my code e-mail.....Just had to click the link in the e-mail, click 'add to amazon account', or something like that, log into amazon, and hit redeem....worked like a charm
