Lets hope he keeps them out of relegation.

With the additions of Jean Macoun, Darren Bent, and possibly Chris Samba from the Rovers, I'd say the Villains are more than safe from the drop zone.

Love it, too bad his best years are past. But he will still help in the near future.

Lol, they weren't headed to the Championship regardless. You don't drop 20 million if you're playing to avoid relegation, lmao.

And Laley, I disagree. Bent is 27. He's under contract for the next 4 1/2 years. Villa did the damn thing on this signing.

I don't think his best days are past because of is age. I just simply think they are gone lol. I mean, he was an england regular/alternate for the past few years and I doubt he gets into that form ever again. As for Villa, as I said, love he signing for them.

Killdeer, the Villans won't be battling the Tricky Trees come next year. I promise you that.

Bent hasn't done much under Fabio, but given their run at the WC this summer, I wouldn't be too upset. He's scored the 3rd most league goals since 2005. He has 81. Didier Drogba and Wayne Rooney both have 82.

He'll have better quality behind him at Villa too.

He ain't no Robert Earnshaw though, that's my dude right there.

And Murd, they had to pay big. Sunderland wasn't going to let him walk for a pence, now. I'm sure some money from the Milner sale was used to finance. Plus, they'll be shedding Carew and Beye here soon, and possibly Heskey?
