I was hoping to see a Heminger/Nelson match-up :( Is he just at 125 for Elgin, or will he continue the season at 125? Where is his best chance for that elusive title?

This will be his 2nd consecutive week at 125. His coach was quoted (newspaper article) saying essentially that they will pick and choose the rest of the way to get him the best matches. With Myers at 125, I'd be shocked if Heminger is not at 119 for the post-season.....

Heminger will be at 119 for State... 125 is loaded at Elgin, so he wanted to go 125 for the best matches... Nothing negative to say about 119 at Elgin, but 125 is just deeper. Not to mention the Heminger/Smith match-up could be very entertaining...

Crestview will have to many starters out to figure in the mix.

One looks like Wyatt Music (130) who may have been seeded #1 at that weight......think he may possibly have been injured at Medina but not sure

Music is out & would of been a #1 seed, plus 2 other starters, one of whom placed here last year. A couple battling injuries here too that are on a short leash.

why is heminger wrestling 125 again this week? is he avoiding good matches or considering staying at 125?

Robinson vs mays will be a good one.

if you think 125 is tougher than 119, you're nuts!! Nelson and Mcglauhlin wins 125 easy in this tournamnet.

I really doubt a 3 X state finalist runs from any one. He may be wrestling 125 because he wants to.

From looking at last year's results, Heminger beat McLaughlin 16-6 in the finals, while Smith of Kenston is the defending 125 champ who also placed fifth in the state in D II. So I'm pretty sure that he's not avoiding good matches if he's going against someone with those credentials.

Pretty good day for Canal Winchester....8 kids advance to tomorrow's 3 man winners bracket pools. Nice win for Dalton Tullius at 130 knocking off the #2 seed Bobby Leitwein (Nelsonville) 11-5.....still waiting for CW to field a full line-up. Maybe soon?
