Not a Les Miles fan here, but good for him for staying at LSU. Good to see a coach stay where he has been and not bolt.

Miles is gettin' PAID! What's the over/under, however, on how soon we start hearing LSU fans wanting to push the guy out?! I say 16 games.

He would have gotten paid at UM. But rumor has it, that UM AD wasn't overly interested in hiring him. But I think he was pressured into meeting.

As far as the pressure at LSU? No doubt, its there. And with the talent he has, and has coming back...he is expected to win, and win big. They are top 5 next year. 2/3 loss season will get them restless real quick.

He was offered twice and turned down both offers. He is taking less pay to stay at LSU.

It's actually just a 3 year extension. And he already makes $3.7m. I think there were some incentives and stuff added though.
