I contacted the user and they finally got back to me, I was just going to change there username without hearing from them first. Here is our exchange:

Hey guy, I got a complaint about your username from a guy who's real name is Dave Simko wanting me to ask you to change your username. Is this just a case of two people with the same name?

Must be I really didn't think my name was all that common and have never seen it in any forums before--the only reason I decided to use it was because I had joined so many forums and would always forget my username so I began using this one since it corresponds with my email address and I never forget it.I will get back to you with a different name after I give it some thought on a new one--I don't want to offend any of the few Dave Simko's in the world.

I've asked him if he can verify that it is in fact his name and if he can then I am not going to make him change it. I've read his posts and nothing makes me think he is here to cause trouble or to try and get you in trouble in real life.

Your email is [email protected] and he is using [email protected].
As for using your real name on a forum, I use my real name on quite a few of them. Mostly forums that have to do with my profession, but still. And like I said, looking at his 9 posts there isn't anything that would lead me to believe he is here trying to pick on you. He even says that he will think of a new username if he needs to but that's not something I am going to make him do if his name is indeed Dave Simko. If he can't verify his name then I'll have him change it, though. That's the best I can offer you.
