The #1 ranked Fighting Scots improved to 14-0 on the season with a win on the road over previously unbeaten and 7th ranked Wabash College. The Scots are the NCAA's winningest program (all divisions) of the 2000's.

Good luck. With the construction of the new field house getting into Timken is rough. Even less parking and they are filtering everyone through the north entrance. Hopefully you make it up, and grab a Coccia's pizza after the game.

Very very impressive what Coach Moore is able to do at Wooster.

What exactly is his role with the University, other than coach? I'm just surprised he has stayed this committed to them.

I believe his is officially the director of Intramurals as well as the FCA at COW. But, mainly he is just the basketball coach. And I believe he is compensated pretty well for that position. He has done a tremendous job at COW and is a great person as well.

What Coach Moore has been able to do at Woo is simply amazing! I only hope both he and Coach Pettorini get the only thing left in their distinguished careers.....a National Championship! Steve and his entire staff are great men and do great work recruiting and developing players.

Superman, the Woo/Witt game is on Saturday the 22nd of this month....I suggest that one. Great atmosphere for small college basketball!

Cool, now maybe the 1972 Wooster Fighting Scots warm-up jacket I found at Heidelberg Fighting Student Princes gymnasium will be worth something on ebay.

Grew up through the basketball camps there and love their tradition and what they do for small college basketball. Woo-Witt games are always a classic!

The thing is Coach Moore always has a local kid, usually a shooting guard from Northwestern High School ( thank you Coach Cline) on the roster who lights up the gym in order to keep the locals interested in the team.

Ringz, great point.....Coach Moore built his program early on with players like Erich Reibe, Mark Stanley, Doug Cline, Nate Gaubatz, Steve Thompson....all locals who bring in a crowd. He then went out and started bringing in players from outside the area that seemed to love the atmosphere in Timken and took the program to the next level. Just happy he has decided to stay true to Wooster since I would imagine he has had contact from AD's at larger schools looking to get him!

Well, Witt pulled a little stunner and knocked off Wabash to set up the showdown tomorrow night! Should be a dandy.
