Interesting (second) choice. He's had three good seasons at Tulsa and one blah one.

They confirmed this today on Pittsburgh sports talk radio. Graham's not a bad choice but I think they are making a mistake by not hiring Tom Bradley, a Pittsburgher who wanted to be there and can recruit Western PA better than anyone.

On a related note, Jon Baldwin, Hank Hynoski and Dion Lewis declared for the NFL draft today.

Currently Pitt does not have the type of athlete suited for Graham's system. The current rosters are made up of guys for smash mouth football--- big offensive linemen and larger running backs. They will need to get leaner, more athletic OL and skill position players who can create in space. It might take a couple years before things fall into place for Pitt with Graham.

I was with a bunch of PSU fans when there was a thread saying Tom Bradley was hired at Pitt...I guess I missed it, but whatever happened with that hiring?

FWIW, my PSU friends were PISSED when I told them that Bradley was leaving..they'll be happy to hear this haha

One of the local Pittsburgh stations jumped the gun claiming to have inside info that Bradley was a done deal which Pitt came out and refuted right away. I believe it was early last week. I don't even think Bradley got a second interview. FWIW, Bradley interviewed at UConn.

Interesting choice.
Tulsa did have some high powered offenses though.

Mistake.

Everyone at Pitt except the AD wanted Bradley. He showed them!

When Bradley is available, this is a horrible hire.

Clemson took Tulsa's OC Morris, a Malzahn Disciple.
