Interesting match-up, as both teams have things to prove. Although Marquette has 5 losses, they've been in every game (including a 5 point loss to Duke). They are looking for a marquee win right now to try to put their season on track to make the tournament, and Vegas actually favors them by 3. The Irish, although 14-2 and 3-1, have yet to make a statement on the road. They will probably be near the top ten when the polls come out and it will be important to find a way to win on the road, since they also play at St. John's Saturday. They will have to win a few Big East road games if they want to keep pace in their quest for a top 3 or 4 seed come tourney time. I honestly think the Irish are good enough to pull it out if they play smart and take advantage of the rebounding advantage, but Marquette has a lot of scorers and it scares me that Vegas favors them by 3.

Marquette wins 79-57.

The Big East is such a damn crap shoot.

Couldn't watch much due to the NC game, but ND couldn't throw it in the ocean tonight. Last I saw they were shooting 36% from the floor.
