Belly and a few of our friends are planning on a toboggan run outing and I want to go to the best one in Ohio.
Speed, distance and height.

Where is the best Toboggan run in Ohio?

Why didn't you just say "sledding hill" instead?

They aren't the same thing. A toboggan doesn't have a runner like a sled does so you typically need track.

Here ya go Belly

Bear Creek had a nice one. Atleast it was nice when I was 8. so it's actually prolly a piece of shit since anything remotely fun is nice to an 8 year old.

Is that one (Bear Creek) still open? I wonder after most of the place burned down if they would keep the shoots open.

I have no idea. I haven't been there in probably 20 years.

Bear Creek is not open this year ..... closed fro repairs HAHAHAH

Seen the only option is the one in the Metro Park Chalet in Mill Stream Run in Strongsville 1000 foot drop

Information and Knowledge : A Toboggan Run is not the same as a "sledding hill" real adventures individual look for the extra activities.
Toboggan Runs are designed for a Toboggan only the refrigerated tracks to keep it icy and fast with an almost straight drop of 1000 feet. The Toboggan can hold 6 adults or 8 kids and reach speed of 45 to 55 mile per hour.

With the suggested 87 year old I feel confident that is old guy can handle the 140 stair march to the top of the platform carrying the 40 pound Toboggan something I’m sure some of you can handle.

We are looking forward this event and plan on making several trips down the track and that not bad for a old guy ………..

Cheap fun and excitement $3.00 for one run or $8.00 for the day unlimited

OK... It's not in Ohio, but it's not THAT far away either... Pokagon State Park in Angola, Indiana was one of the nicest I've seen:
"The top recorded speed is now 42 mph. With the 30-foot tower and all of the dips and valleys, the total vertical drop is 90 feet. It takes anywhere from 20 to 30 seconds from the time you are launched to the time you fall back in exhilaration as the sled skids to a stop a quarter mile from the tower."

That place sucks IMO, you have to carry your own sled up many stairs. Also it might be 1000 feet long but you only get to go 700 and only 80 of it is the actual hill. We went and had some fun but only went 4 or 5 times and was not worth the money at all IMO.

Got an alternative in Ohio that's better? That was the question after all.
