Some thought that he was faking at least the degree of severity of his foot injury near the end of the Sugar Bowl, but he had surgery on the foot today. Guess it was more serious than most though. Good thing he'll have all off season and an extra five weeks to rehab it. I think this also guarantees that he'll be back next year since he won't be able to work out or run at the combine or OSU's pro day.

Didn't think he was faking. He has plenty of time to recover though :). I am more concerned about checkwa.

I can't find anything on this--they're obviously keeping tight lipped on his condition due to privacy and draft concerns

There was an article in the Columbus Dispatch yesterday that stated that he dislocated his wrist.

Yeah Chekwa just dislocated his wrist. I doubt that affects people's opinion come draft day. He has plenty of poor performances on film though that might affect that.

As far as Pryor, it is all a giant cover up. I'm shocked at the length that Tressel will go to protect his fragile ego:D

That being said, I'll risk the bad karma and wish you an ankle that constantly has problems forever TP. Couldn't have happened to a more deserving guy.

Chekwa's dislocation and subsequent attempt and putting it back was only partially successful. Meaning the smaller bones in the wrist were out of place also, thus the need for the surgery. Had to hurt trying to put it back when all the pieces were swimming around in there.

Such a douche bag comment....wishing life long pain on a young man! TP has made his mistakes but will leave OSU with more records and wins than any OSU qb in history.

I'm a young man. People can wish bad things on me. I'm sure many already do. I have some ex girlfriends that might have even taken up Voodoo and tried to curse me.

TP is a scum of the Earth type person who feels he is entitled to everything. Winning a Sugar Bowl doesn't change that.

Considering OSU is not really a QB school, that is not saying much. (Compared to say USC, Michigan, etc.)

Still, I thought it was a pretty bad injury as for much shit as I give Pryor, he does give max effort and I don't see him as one to "fake" an injury.

Now, he just has all the time in the world to let it heal. I wish him the best and a speedy return to the practice field.

As to Chekwa, I really hope it is not as bad as a break and really hope it does not hurt him in April.

I tend to think murderers, rapists, and thieves are scum of the earth people, not a 20 year old kid the may feel entitled to something.

Seriously, your one sick SOB. Grow the fuck up. I am sure you have NEVER made mistakes or said things you regretted. Get a clue. If he is scum, your right next to him with comments like this.

I'm sure this logic is the reasoning that you have the ex girlfriends.

I'm not a huge Pryor fan as a person, but like us all...he is a PERSON and nobody is perfect. He made some minor mistakes, has owned up to them, and is taking his punishment. You can't label someone "scum" for that....its downright pathetic.

This. In the grand scheme of life, Pryor has made minor mistakes. To call him scum of the earth is ignorant. I'm starting to think CinciX12 is just saying things for shock value, like some of our well known trolls around here.

I didn't doubt that he was dinged. Obviously if he was faking he wouldn't have been so hurt that he would come out of the ball game.

I did however feel that he was kind of milking it in the postgame. I didn't say this in the game thread or any other thread. So it's not like I'm a hater or anything. Dude's a tough guy, this is the 2nd year in a row he has had to have surgery for an injury and he always plays through it
