personally, I don't give two shits if China can do this or not, as any war we fight with them is the end of days anyway

Here is a pretty good article on the bird:
http://www.aviationweek.com/aw/generic/story_channel.jsp?channel=defense&id=news/awst/2011/01/03/AW_01_03_2011_p18-279564.xml&headline=China%27s%20J-20%20Stealth%20Fighter%20In%20Taxi%20Tests
It is still years away from being deployed and is an offshoot of the new Russian fighter. Thing is the bird is huge, and I mean huge, bigger than an F-22, which is large.
But, all of this goes to the image that China is rising miltiary wise to combat the U.S. and I'm not so sure of the evidence yet.
It simply appears China is simply updating their miltiary, which all countries do.
Sure, other states in the region are a little worried, but I don't think this really changes things.

Lets sign a meaningless "Treaty" that will alway be the first line of defence to limit the future development of weapons.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/40961787/ns/world_news-asiapacific/China announced a smaller-than-usual 7.5 percent increase to $76.3 billion last year — the second largest defense budget in the world behind the United States.
I saw this in an article this morning about Gates going over there and it is mind blowing. Even assuming they are understating what they are really spending on defense, we are still spending almost 6 or 7 times what they are.
People wonder why our country is going broke and China is eating our lunch. The second largest military budget in the world is probably around $120 billion (probably closer to what China is actually spending) and we are up around $700 billion and that doesn't even take into account absolutely all of the war and other misc. spending.
