Definitely did not enjoy my time in Okinawa but that was probably because the Marine Corps always gave us the Green Weenie. So you will probably have a great time in Japan with the Chair Force. ;)

Best of luck my friend.

Are you Air Force? What part of Japan? My Uncle is a big wig over there. I've never met him because he's only come back to Ohio once since I've been cognizant of life. hahah

For what it's worth, they actually like it over there. Although their three boys don't really care for it.

Well we are headed for nothern japan. Misawa air force base. They get an average of 200 inches of snow. Which I think is awesome!!!!

And I guess I maybe should have made it more clear. My wife is the officer in the USAF. She's a cyber operations officer. It's a new program, she's only the 5th ever class. She will be defending our networks, while also trying to hack enemy networks. That's literaly all I know, the rest is all top secret!

That sounds like fun, if you enjoy snow. Your wife sounds pretty cook too. Good luck!

Crazy the difference in climates in Asia. We're moving to Singapore March 1st. It is the OPPOSITE of 200 inches of snow. It is 90 degrees and 70%+ humidity every day.

Are you taking Japanese language classes?

I'm not taking any classes... Abd though we will be cancelling our phone service. I've already downloaded some translator apps on my phone today. I'm gonna need them.

Also, can't wait to get a BIG tv while we are there. Reading they are cheap there, since they're made there.

I love snow!!! Have never been skiing or snowboarding though. So I'm really looking forward to that.

In the summer, it's in the mid 70's and humid. It almost sounds much like living on the snow belt in Ohio in the winter.
