The Lancaster Grove City match was very good. Each team won 7 matches, it came down to Lanacaster geting more pins. Started at 160, Grove city wins 160- 103 to take a 28-0 lead. Lancaster wins 112-145 to take 40-28 lead and Grove City had a majior at 152 to finish the match.

Don't have all the individual match ups and names but Gahanna's 17 points were earned by Brown (189) getting a forfeit, light McDougal beat Deluse 6-5 (130) in a great match, heavy McDougal won by fall (135) and Gahanna won 13-10 at (140). They had a team point deducted early in the dual. Best I can do. Not really good with names.

Grove City won 103? Did Spearman not wrestle?

I don't remember a lot of the names of all of the kids, but here is what I do remember

Grove City v. Reynoldsburg
started at 171
171- Hughes (GC) forfeit 6-0 GC
189- GC pin Reed (R) 12-0 GC
215- GC 5-4 R 15-0
Hvy- Ranard? (GC) pin R 21-0
103- Straughter (R) pin GC 21-6
112- Chang (R) tf GC 21-11
119- R dec GC 21-14
125- GC pin R 26-14
130- GC pin 31-14
135- GC pin 37-14
140- GC forfeit 43-14
145- R pin 43-20
152- GC forfeit 49-20
160- GC forfeit 55-20?
Pretty dull dual. GC big guns didn't get matches and Reynoldsburg had a fourth of their starting line-up out. Not much to report. Good match at 189 before a 3rd period fall, and 215 match was decided by a stall call with 1 second left on the clock after the whistle started action with 9 seconds left. Unreal, let the kids decide the match!

Gahanna/ Reynoldsburg
action started at 160
160- Gah pin over R
171- Gah forfeit
189- Brown (G) pin Reed (R)
215- (R) dec over (G)
285- (G) pin
103- Straughter (R) pin
112- Chang (R) pin
119- (G) pin
125- (R) major decision
130- (G) pin
135- (G) pin
140- (G) pin
145- (R) dec over (G)
152- Strochein forfeit

Anyone have the Lancaster individual results....especially against Gahanna?

Were the Lions missing some kids or are the Gales just that good?

I think Lancaster is for real. Everyone knows about Spearman and Stroup, but their kid a 130 is real good, and their heavyweight is solid. He tossed the GC kid on his back before getting rolled through for the fall. They are real solid up and down the line-up. Based on what I've seen they are deserving of a top five area ranking, and are the favorites to win the OCC if they can beat Pick Central. Pick Central can beat them in some of their better weights (119, Hvy), so it should be an entertaining dual.

For what is worth, Lancaster and Pick Central were both at the Olentangy Liberty tournament and Lancaster finished 48 points ahead of them with Strope out of the lineup. Means nothing, because duals present different matchups but it is food for thought.

I wasn't there so I don't know if gahanna was missing anyone. But, Lancaster is good. A little overlooked I think being in southeastern central Ohio. That and they keep to themselves in terms of Internet forums. I think they only have a couple seniors in the line up as well.

Should be a close dual, but Pickerington Central was missing 5 kids(135, 160, 189, 215, and HVY) at the Liberty tournament because of the football team getting to the Regional Finals in football.
