I didnt want to start a thread on this but its all over the news and for the rcord I support coach Bahen he is a good coach and a good man . Anybody have any thought on this troubling development,speak here

Reportedly he got rough (no idea how specific that is) with a player either in practice or before/after a game.

Wonder if any of the opposing players got rough during the game? Man that would be horrible... I feel so bad for little Johnny :/

The difference is, the opposing players don't sign their name to a contract which says they void said contract if they're abusive. We'll see how it shakes out.

Whatever he did .. Ill bet it happened to me when I was in HS and I would never ever dream of selling my coach out like that ..Bahen has alot of honor . one of the best coaches in the entire area .. Its just sick ...Like they couldnt settle this man to man .. That is if the father had a problem .. I mean cmon man this is just totally bologna.

I always thought of him as a very good coach and very dedicated and thought CCHS was fortunate to have him. I heard there was more to the story but, time will tell.

Typical BS from some pansy ass kid who probably couldn't cut it! I support Coach Bahen through and through, he is Catholic Central and I hope this crap gets settled quickly!

Things like this happen. Back in the 1970's is was NOT uncommon for a teacher to smack a kid, as in those days, most kids either deserved it or were more afraid of their parents!

Just dovetailing how this is not unusual in schools. Private schools tend to take teachers behaviors more serious than public schools.

Unfortunately its not the 70's or 80's its 2011. You have to treat kids different now. Do I agree? No way. A sign of the times is all.

I hope this ends quikly . This man has already been dragged through the mud before because he stuck up for a black student who was being racially attacked by a big name student ... I wonder if this is connected in some small way? In any case Any school in the entire state of ohio would be lucky to have him for a coach ...just sickening

Well, that student who was bullying the black student a few years back.....his father is the attorney for the diocese.

That story literally told us nothing new. Since Ogden owns HS, Intel, and TL, why keep reposting the same story on different days without added developments?

There are other CCHS alumni on here who can attest to this..........I've NEVER seen Coach Bahen abuse a kid! The man tries to instill values in these kids. Times have changed. You can't swear at a kid and swearing in general could get you fired. Touching/smacking/grabbing a kid is the kiss of death. Fired and loss of teaching license is the likely result.

There are some folks out there who have and continue to do that, but "they" aren't CCHS. Coach Bahen is CCHS. The diehard fans are CCHS. The proud alumni are CCHS.
