At least the team will be fun to watch on Madden. We got Roth, Wright, Vickers... players that would've helped this team tremendously imo.

The Browns will be in attendance for Pryor's Pro Day this Friday. Anyone find it ironic it's the same day as OSU's appearnce with the NCAA?

Due diligence, nothing more....nothing to see here, peeps. They'd look like a bunch of putzes if they didn't at least make the trek down to see old Akili, I mean Terrelle, do his thing.

Evan Moore played WR at Stanford and was moved to TE when he was drafted (because of his size). I agree with you guys , line him up in the slot and get him the ball. He has shown he can catch anything and go over around and through defenders.

I am still wondering why they haven't tried to sign a free agent WR......with MoMass hurt and still in question if he will be ready for the regular season, why not get Colt some weapons?

Sounds like the defense is playing REALLY well and Ward & Haden have stepped up as leaders of the D. Usama Young is all over the place and allowing Ward to cheat up on the line.

Here's a post from the OBR regarding available free agents, of name, still out there...

Why not go after Steve Smith? He was talked about earlier in the offseason as a possibility. Seems like a good guy for Cleveland, even if it's only one year.

Seem to be a few conspiracy theorists out there that believe that they don't have much in McCoy so they aren't investing in the weapons. Some believe they don't necessarily want him to flourish because the Browns might be out of "Luck."

Can't say I believe/buy that.

Someone in the media (chris fedor?) started a twitter name "suck for luck". Like I said earlier, our Cleveland talking heads suck.

A name to keep an eye on via trade or when the cuts come down is Brandon Gibson, WR St Louis. Fits the WCO system, was drafted by Heckert in 2009 and was sought by Shurmur and acquired by the Rams via trade. Very possible he could be snagged for free in that he's considered the odd man out in St Louis.

That's interesting, I didnt even consider potential trades. I'd say after last season Heckert has shown to do pretty well in trades.

I'm no conspiracy theorist, but I don't think we have much in McCoy either.

I agree at LB but I think they'll be OK in the secondary. I expect Skrine to be thrown into the fire early and Sheldon Brown to rotate to FS in certain packages. Apparently Patterson has looked very good and Mike Adams has been in a dogfight with Usama Young, who has also looked strong, for that starting FS spot.

Yeah, I actually like our secondary.... especially what I've been hearing. But, LB scares me.

I like Adam's and Brown's versatility, but not as starters in a 4 DB package. Both as good/serviceable nickel/dime backs. How many DB will they keep? Ventrone always seems to stick around due to his ST play.

If colt plays well, we will make a push for the playoffs. Everyone else(rookies, new players, etc.) will feed off his confidence and everything will fall into place. BOOK IT

What about injuries? Our team is as deep as a puddle.

I think there is a chance. But everything has to go right, and we have to somehow get some recievers. Or just have all our TE's in at once. I would put it at 5% chance that colt plays well, we don't get injuries and we go 9-7 or 10-6 and we make the playoffs. I think we have a decent defense that may actually turn out to be good. We also have a decent running game. So i'd say there is a chance.

There is a chance. But they would have to go 4-2 in the division, stay healthy, and Colt would have to play above expectations.

I predicted 7-10 wins...10 might get them in.
