Half of what he says is bull crap, but there is some truth to it. It's just hard finding it through all the shit. I usually takes what he's saying and confirm it with other outlest or the very few sources that I have. I heard a while back something about Cromartie to the Browns a while back, but ... yeah.

In other news. I talked to FA Lawrence Vickers today. Great guy who I really wish the Browns would've brought back at least for a couple years to help groom Owen Marecic. He hasn't received a single call, although the market for fullbacks is typically nonexistant.

I'm pretty much a Twitter novice as I just started seriously following Schefty, Mort, etc today but I was ready to rail on him (Knob Job Bob) after the MKC report that "we were never in contact with Ray Edwards" but I couldn't figure out how to correspond with him.

That sucks. Vickers is a good guy. He deserves better. Hope he lands with someone like the Packers (NFC team)

He told me not to worry much, as the Ravens and Steelers are pretty much set at FB. No way in hell he plays for the Disfunctional Bungals. Of course, I'm partial to the guy cause he gave me my first "professional" interview, but just talking to him you can tell he's a solid dude.

Looks to me like the Browns are going to camp with basically the same people as last year, plus a few draftees and undrafted free agents. That's it. For someone who says he wants to win now, Holmgren sure has his team laying low when there's a lot of quality players out there still who could help this team without aging it too much.

I truly don't understand their thinking or their plan -- assuming they really have one beyond just sitting pat and waiting for the next year's draft.

An update on free agency...I'm getting info that the more things change, the more they stay the same. Even with the Holmgren/Heckert "credibility" factor this organization is STILL highly dysfunctional. Take it FWIW....

I don't know where your info is coming from BR. But I hope it's wrong. Their credibility has to account for something. I believe the lack of the higher profile FAs coming here is more towards the lack of success or wins. Or maybe that's just wishful thinking.

Perhaps I "lead" with the wrong words. The "dysfunction" doesn't have as much to do with free agency as it does with things that are going on behind the scenes.
