Or die trying. Kinda reminds me of Brian Sipe. Not the greatest physical attributes but has a fire to win. Haven't had a QB like that (fire to win) since BK.

Speaking of BK...I stumped my Co workers today by asking "who is the only player.to be on the box of Wheaties at the high school, collegiate, and professional level?" No one knew it was Bernie. First time I've stumped them since I started asking one trivia question a day 2 weeks ago!

Peter King believes that the Browns & Rams should go hard after Plaxico Burress...

Hardesty is going to be very productive if he is healthy. With that being said, I still think the Browns should sign a FA rb.

100%. I'm a huge Noel Devine fan. My friends who go to WVU said he was terribly under/mis-used, and since they're Browns fans they've got me sold that we should give him a hard look.

Sounds like you're being swayed by homers to me. If Devine didn't have the hype coming out of HS, and wasn't close to Sanders no one would give a shit about him.

Noel Devine had Devin Hester type hype coming out of high school and Devin Hester like production in college. I'm just saying sometimes players slip through cracks and his highlight reel when he was utilized is pretty damn impressive.

He had two solid seasons of stats, terrible senior season 4.5 yd per carry avg including 8 under 100 yds games (finsihing the season with 5 straight) and is 23 yrs old. He's 5'8" and 160 lbs. I dont see a lot to get excited about.

Like I said 2 posts ago, he was extremely underutilized senior year. He's very talented, his 2 good years (6.2 ypc) compare to Darren Sproles (6.35 ypc) and if that's his ceiling, then I'm more than willing to bring him into training camp for a workout. Worse comes to worse, he gets cut, what's the harm?

They need a change of pace back to spell Hillis. Devine is definitely an option. I don't see them going after a Deangelo Williams-type as he'd want to be the feature back. I'd like Sproles (think that's a pipe dream) but I'd potentially keep an eye on a Ricky Williams/Ronnie Brown.

I really think Ronnie Brown is a darkhorse to wind up on a Browns roster.

This. I am all for getting a small speedy RB to spell Hillis.

There isn't any harm, but I'm just not a fan of his. Don't get the hype. doubt he makes an NFL roster.

Agreed completely. Just don't think Devine is the guy. i'd rather a have a guy that wont get killed when he meets an NFL defender for the first time.

Gotcha, we'll just have to wait and see.

Who's going to be our #1 target (any position)?

I think they need a more quality starting linebacker and another LB to add depth. Another good safety to pair up with Ward would help out as well. I can see the Browns signing some UDFAs that can help fill in some holes or provide some depth or create competetion whenever a deal is in place.

I think the Browns should try to sign Polunsky.

Cleveland Browns

Money is no object: The Browns' search for a top-tier receiver to pair with QB Colt McCoy should begin with Malcolm Floyd. He's a young 27, can stretch the field and is not your typical diva WR. Saints receiver Lance Moore could hit the open market as well and could thrive in the Cleveland offense.

Smart shopper: Presuming the Browns prioritize WR and Jason Babin is off the board, they must build the defensive front. The best value signings could be found by one-stop-shopping in Tampa Bay, where DLs Stylez White and Tim Crowder could be available.

Will cost a shit ton of money.

I knew I forgot a UDFA, Derrick Locke (Kentucky), might be a better fit for that change of pace back than Noel Devine.
