New Years Texts

I realized today I hadn't been receiving any text messages. For the hell of it, I shut off my phone and turned it back on and then received about 20 texts all at once. All of the people who texted me "happy new year" broke my phone.

tl;dr sending people text messages on new years makes you a douchebag.

If I understand your post correctly you think people who send texts on New Year's are douchebags but yet you were surprised by the fact you hadn't received any. were you expecting that your contacts were going to be douchebags and surprised when they weren't?

I received about 20 texts, 6 of which were new years texts

From about 12:15 until 2 AM this morning, Sprint's network was down. Neither my girlfriend or I could send or receive any text, or call/receive any phone calls. It was AWESOME let me tell you.
