Washington up 10-7 at the half. The Big ten newcomer isnt impressing me either.
How the hell if Jake Locker ever considered a top draft prospect? In his 2 games against the only real decent defense he has faced all year, he is 4-27 passing with 2 interceptions.

Jake Locker had a <130.00 rating the last two years.
Not impressive.

I was never sold on Locker as a stud QB, but I think he could be solid. He'll excel at pre-draft workouts, and still be a 1st or 2nd rounder.

Yeah, because you know exactly what it takes to play in the NFL.

What's the cliche? The team that wants to be there more usually wins, when it comes to bowl games?

As Ive said before, Nebraska is either real good or real bad during their games. They whip Wash earlier, now Nebraska is getting beat by them.

Piss poor performance by Nebraska tonight. If this was the effort they were going to give should of stayed home.

How bad has the Big 12 been? Outside of OSU rolling...they have been smacked on.

Congrats to Nebraska. You managed to look sillier and more uninspired than OSU in the '90 Liberty Bowl which I never thought was possible.

I'm a UW grad and I thought we would get out butts kicked. I'm really excited about the result of this game.

I'd have to say Nebraska is the most fickle team in the FBS...I can't figure them out!!!

Nebraska didn't belong in this bowl. They were second best in their league, and got dropped to the Holiday Bowl. Going into the game, there was hopes of a BCS berth. Hard to get players up to play a team they already beat by a huge margin. Meanwhile, UW had revenge on their minds AND UW actually saw even making a bowl an accomplishment that they would not relinquish.
It happens all the time. A team going into their bowl with a big loss will have a hard time getting up for their game.

Will ESPN ever stop talking about Jake Locker? They have been talking about him non-stop since the game like he just pulled off the greatest QB performance ever. He was 5-16 passing for 56 yards. 4-20 the first time he played Nebraska. If he is the best QB in the draft, the QB spot is as thin as it has ever been.
