Who you got winnin?

Duke seems to be the clear favorite, I expect a lot of Dookie votes (justifiably so).

Obviously I am going to go with KU, both logically and full of bias.

Also, if you want to post a sleeper team, go ahead. Be careful, cbf might quote you come April and publicly bash your bold prediction...but who gives a fuck, cbf has ghonnorea.

My sleeper pick will be Purdue

I like the Dookies to repeat (just because I don't have a clue right now), and I'll go with Texas as my dark horse

Champion: OSU

Darkhorse: Georgetown.

However, I could honestly see number of teams winning it this year, including Duke (obviously), KU, SU, etc..)

It sucks too...wish your gf/wife would have told me ahead of time. Oh wait..or was it your mom?

As for thread..I'll go with Oakland to win it all.

Sleeper team is Oakland as well.

Whats the verdict on how long Irving is going to be out?

I actually like Kansas too.

Sleeper team: Hell I don't know, I'll go with Kentucky since nobodies picked them yet lol.

Duke is the obvious choice and I can't really pick against them at this point.

My biased assessment tells me Syracuse has the depth and enough inside and outside to cut down the nets as the zone is even "longer" than last year as Syracuse has quite a few players with really good size and nice wingspans. The energy is still there defensively and they're more athletic than they were last year. The only negative is that they haven't really figured out who their "go-to-guy" is yet. Probably Scoop Jardine but not so sure that's always a good thing. He certainly doesn't shy away from the moment but I think Kris Joseph could be a "closer" if given the opportunity too. Rick Jackson is a living, breathing double-double. Lots of youth and energy on this team and that zone will give fits come tourney time. They're probably a year away but hey, I can dream, can't I?

I'm not going to say OSU because with my luck that is a for sure jinx, but I honestly believe they finally have what it takes to win it all.

I'll be safe and go with a Duke repeat.

Kentucky's very talented and I wouldn't bet against them in any single game. However, I think their youth will hurt them at some point during a six game stretch. I like Syracuse, but I'll know more about them Saturday unfortunately lol

I would have to say Duke, as much as I hate to do that.

My darkhorse would be Villanova... but I don't see anyone outside of the top 5 right now having much of a shot.

Duke has the best chance sinc that IU team to go undefeated through a full season

They will repeat fairly easy

I am always critical of my teams, sometimes overly critical, so I never predict them to win it all, and I won't now. However, I really love how this Buckeye team plays. They play great defense, and on offense they move the ball so well, they look inside first, attack the rim more than they have in years, yet still have shooters that can knock down the open shots they get from moving the ball inside-out. They play the exact way I would draw it up if I was coaching them. This team looks like they are better than the 2006-07 national runner-up. Does that mean they win it all? I hope so.
