If I win, I plan on purchasing Ohio Chatter, which is bad news for some of you.

I would barely get half of it, so I'm not even getting a ticket. Not worth it. ;)

You still couldn't afford this place with $237 million.

Who is up for an OC lottery pool? Go ahead and paypal me your money and I'll buy the lottery tickets. I promise I won't just keep the money and make up fake numbers. Definitely.

It's an interesting dynamic how much interest this thing gets when the jackpot grows so large, as opposed to the "normal" levels. As if $12 million wouldn't be life-changing for most of us (Justin and Manhattan excluded).

I'll throw a dollar at the mathmatically challenged tax.

Mathmatically challenged sure. But unless you believe that no one actually wins and it's a conspiracy then you simply have to figure out how frequently you buy a ticket and whether you'd be better off doing something else with those funds.

For me I figure at my current rate I might buy 1,000 tickets in my lifetime. A thousand dollars is a lot but not when you stretch it over a 30-60 year period. Then you have to factor in that yes, like the commercials say, I usually do have at least a small amount of fun when I play the lottery if only because I enjoy thinking of how I'd spend that cash and how much it could make my life and the lives of those around me if not better but a lot easier.

Would be funny if your fake numbers hit and the real numbers didn't.

Do you need to spend a dollar to imagine how you would spend money you have a very slim chance of winning? I can do that for free.

Yeah, but it's just a dollar. I wipe my butt with $20 bills.
