Been growing it for almost 2 years now (22 months) and reached the 10 inch mark about a month ago...getting it cut tomorrow and sending it away to locks of love so an alopecia/cancer patient can have it as a wig...keep in mind it takes TWENTY hair donations to make just ONE wig..ill be posting before/after pics tomorrow

I wish I had the patience to grow my hair out for this. Kudos to you, man.

Very cool !!! I wish I could grow hair to do that. The most hair I can grow is on my chin.

I might do this next time I chop my hair. It's been about 5 or so years since I've had it short.

My wife has done this twice and is doing it again in a few months --- very nice gesture on your part.

That is a great thing you are doing. My wife donates to Wigs 4 Kids. My daughter has received a wig from there and loves it.

That's a great thing you're doing.
My college room mate wouldn't cut his hair until he graduated and then he wanted to donate it. They said "no thanks." Lol

I know a guy in ohio from school that did this, he was just a fat lazy slob though and I the idea of someone getting his dirty filthy hair made me sad.

You know, now that I think about it...this may be the perfect strategy to get your ex-girlfriend to stop banging other dudes at Denison and come running back to you!

Very cool thing to do.
My niece asked my sister if she could donate hers when she was 6 years old, so my sis let her. My father is a cancer survivor, so thats where she got the idea.
