Pretty funny lolwrote:"My biggest beef is that this is part of what's happened in this country," Rendell said. "I think we've become wussies."
"We've become a nation of wusses. The Chinese are kicking our butt in everything," Rendell added. "If this was in China do you think the Chinese would have called off the game? People would have been marching down to the stadium, they would have walked and they would have been doing calculus on the way down."

That's awesome. The calculus comment is hilarious. I think he just earned himself some votes, haha.

Yeah, run the risk of having 70,000 people stranded overnight at a football game in freezing temps with several inches of snow on the ground. Yeah that makes sense.

I bet if this happens in New York for the Super Bowl in a few years from now that they do not postpone it.

the phili fans are mad that the game was postponed.Which doesnt surprise me because eagle fans are some of the best in sports. Not to mention all of the public transportation systems were still running when the game would have been played.

I think "Eagle Fan" was pissed because he didn't get a chance to chuck a battery inside a snowball...well there's always tonight.

He has a point, the country has kinda gone to shit with the threat of lawsuits hanging over everything we do.

In China if the government wants you to go to the game and you don't, a tank will roll over you.

Wasn't Philly on the outside of the major storm? I don't think there was that much of a risk to having the game. Sure there would have been the risk of some people getting into accidents because a lot of people can't drive in the winter but overall I think it would have been fine to have the game.

I like how they supplant their own weakness for the country as a whole. They didn't actively campaign to play on Sunday night. Instead, they sat passively and went along with the NFL for reasons purely selfish. Better attendance, better playing field for Vick & Co., etc.
Philadelphians have a right to be pissed. But, don't place the blame on the rest of the country.

Congrats on contributing to the "wussiness" of this country.
