Only in Brooklyn.

The funny thing is people in the youtube comments were trying to defend these idiots. If you can't pull it out just dig it out - one of the vehicles has a huge shovel. What's the rush anyway? You can close the street down, and obviously the shoveler isn't going to be any more help even if they get it out, it will probably just end up in a similar situation.

And those people are just as big of idiots.

That is inexcusable.

Props to the dude who caught this on video.

The truck driver and back hoe driver need taken out to a field and shot. Talk about disrespecting someones property in broad daylight. Wow! Too bad we couldn't give away a Darwin award here.

I just got in at around 9, by car. I don't have one here and never will.

Manhattan is fucked!!! I saw a few abandoned cars in the Upper East Side and it took me like an hour and half to get from there to Queens. The morning rush tomorrow is really going to suck.

The guy I drove with couldn't find a place to park so his ass drive all the way to Staten Island to leave it in a cheapo lot.

Props to the snow removal crews on the PA and NJ turnpikes....no snow on the roads until about 15 miles out.

Wow the guy taping it nailed it. Lift it up and put on some chains. How hard can it be? They should have had chains on it to begin with anyway.

Hey, this happened right up the street from me! Curious about your comment MB, as Brooklyn Heights is one of the premier neighborhoods in NYC.

I would have the city's ass on this one.

There is no excuse for this at all.

I agree, no excuse.........but no one's going to have the city's ass. Vehicle repaired on the city's dime (minus the deductible), and maybe a half assed "sorry" from one of this dimwits' dimwitted supervisors.

Why would the owner have to pay their deductible if the city is paying for it? Deductible is only when your coverage is paying out for your own vehicle

Experience with City of Miami, some years ago. My unattended vehicle damaged by city vehicle. Hard Ball.....settlement was - deductible amount. More to the story, but that was the end result(including the half azzed "sorry").
