This should be another laugher, but what would you like to see from the Buckeyes in the last game before Big 10 play begins on Friday?

Thad Matta said today that it is a major accomplishment to go undefeated in the non conference schedule. Get the fuck outta here Thad.. You played 2 games against teams in the top 50 for RPI lol.

As far as this #296 juggernaut, they let their opponents (SOS=299) shoot at a clip over 55%. Should be uhh..interesting?

Well, when your one of only 8 teams(out of 345) in the country who are currently undefeated, with MOST doing the SAME thing scheduling wise....it is an accomplishment no matter how much you want to HATE on Matta and OSU. ;)

I love the Buckeyes, but I am not impressed. I'd be more impressed if they had gone to duke and competed in a loss.

Why are you confused. Competing with, but losing to a very good team is more impressive than destroying a Tennessee-Martin, a UNC-Asheville, a........Get the point?.

Poor cincix is still butt hurt from matta leaving x.

I hate osu's schedule too. But they went to Florida and got two wins. Beat a pretty good USC team badly. I'm pleased and ready for big ten play.

We all get the scheduling issue, but this excuse by you is getting really really old. Just because others do it doesn't mean it is okay.

Let's revisit some past Ohio State non-conference schedules shall we? The ranking indicated is what that team was ranked at the time of the game, not the final ranking. Interesting to look at past years compared to this year.

10-11:
at #9 Florida
at Florida State
South Carolina

09-10:
#6 North Carolina(2K Sports Classic)
#13 California(2K Sports Classic)
at #12 West Virginia
at #22 Butler
Florida State

08-09:
at #22 Miami
#7 Notre Dame(Indianapolis)
Butler
West Virginia

07-08:
#21 Syracuse(Preseason NIT)
#15 Texas A&M(Preseason NIT)
#1 North Carolina
at Butler
Florida
at #7 Tennessee

06-07:
at #7 North Carolina
at #5 Florida
#16 Tennessee

Actually you don't get the scheduling issue. And the only excuse thats getting old, is you not accepting somthing that is out of your control. But go ahead and continue to whine, you will anyways.

I wasn't even on here complaining. I've accepted it. I hope it changes in the future, but it is what it is.

You continue to use the same excuse "well others do it, so it's okay". No one here is talking about anyone else. People are concerned with OSU and OSU only.

Everyone understands that it's all about revenue, however, that doesn't mean people can't complain about it, when OSU is playing Tennessee-Martin. Because there's really not much to talk about regarding the game other than coming out of the game without any injuries.

BTW, SportsandLady's quote regarding the tattoos is far better than yours.

just bought tickets for the game tonight. my parents have never been to an OSU bball game. So excited for them to go. Only seats for 4 avaliable were in section 333 though... bummed about that. Hopefully we can find some empty seats to move to at the half or something.

You will be able to find PLENTY of empty seats.

And as far as the scheduling.....WHO CARES!!! The beauty of NCAA basketball. In the end, it all gets proven ON the court!!

You'll be able to move down well before half.

Agree. I'll take the win and the time on the court it allows for the team -- comprised of several seniors and a stud freshmen class -- to bond together as a team.

I'd take the loss. Then, I would have a better idea about what kind of team I had and what flaws I needed to address.
