Definitely. I think even though they are not the biggest markets.....the ratings would be higher than ever.

I'd rather see Bengals vs. Saints. It would be "Who Dey?" vs. "Who Dat?"

I would LOVE it. Mostly because the Colts are in it! Frankly though, I hope if the Colts make it to the SB they arent playing the Saints. That team is scary good.

Saints v. Colts would be great...especially if both come in at 16-0...absolutely historic.
Despite the small markets, that would probably draw some huge numbers.
However, as good as the Saints are, I think as the season wears on, the Vikings may be the team to beat.
I'm definitely not a Favre fan, but there are a lot of tools on that team, and possibly one of the better D's this year.

So...I'm going with Vikes vs. Bengals as my worthless prediction.

(By the way, did anybody get the feeling that the NO fans were co-opting our "Who-Dey" cheer while watching MNF?)

pretty sure the who dey cheer came from who dat.

as far as ratings for the super bowl game, large market teams don't matter. the bengals/niners game has the highest rating i believe, and last years cardinals/steelers game was the most watched ever.

If the Bengals don't make it then I'd like to see Saints vs. Colts with the Saints destroying the Colts!

they would be 18-0 if they were both unbeaten. That would be a nightmare matchup for Dolphins fans

other way around actually. From wiki:

"Finally, "Who Dat" became part of a chant for fans cheering on their favorite team. It has been debated exactly where it started, but some claim it began with Southern University fans either in the late 1960's or early 70's and went "Who dat say dey gonna beat dem Jags" - Southern University being nicknamed the Jaguars. Another claim is that around the same time it began at St. Augustine High School, a historically African-American all boys Catholic high school in New Orleans, and then spread to the New Orleans Public Schools. Another claim is that the cheer originated at Patterson High School in Patterson, Louisiana (home of Saints running back Dalton Hilliard). In the late 70's fans at Louisiana State University picked up on the cheer. In 1983, the New Orleans Saints organization adopted it during the tenure of coach Bum Phillips, though fans had been cheering the "Who Dat?" cheer since the team's inception in 1967. In 1981, the Cincinnati Bengals fans and players started with the now famous "Who Dey" cheer. It was also adopted by wrestling fans of the Junkyard Dog, who wrestled locally in the Mid South Wrestling area in the early to mid 1980s"
