Bozo's Grand Prize Game. Not the ghetto version I had as a kid (a faux golf ball and different sized popcorn tins), this is the legit, street legal regulation shiznit. I'm sooooo happy.

Link, FTW

Sounds like someone will be well prepared for beer-pong come college time.

This is about as old school as I go...we got this for my niece. I definitely had the popcorn popper when I was little.

Sounds like it'll be more of a gift for you than for here. She probably won't know who who Bozo The Clown is.

That is pretty cool though, nice find.

I rememeber watching Bozo on WGN. The Grand Prize Game was my favorite. I would always get ticked when some stupid kid would miss the first bucket or two. I always liked Whizzo better than Bozo, btw. Cookie was a bit annoying.

lol, I vaguely remember Bozo the Clown. Never watched the show, I'm only 25...plus clowns terrified me when I was little.

That's a good one. I assume she's also not going to have sex until she gets married at 40, correct?

When I was like 9, our Brownie troop took a field trip to Chicago to actually GO to the Bozo the Clown show. When the camera wildly panned across the studio audience to pick the next contestant on the Grand Prize Game, it landed on the little girl next to me. The first of many near miss disappointments in my life. LOL

I would have loved to be there live for the bozo magic. was it awesome? as a kid I imagined it being a great experience now, I'm wondering if it wasn't a smelly warehouse with cameras set up.

Get her a loaf of bread, some cold cuts, some cheese and some mayo. Have her practice making me a sandwich.

(fully joking BTW)

Nothing that image shattering, j_crazy. ;) It was a studio with bleachers for the audience to sit in. And to be honest, I was happy the camera didn't land on me because I had never watched the Bozo show and had no clue what the Grand Prize Game was. LOL We had recently moved to the WGN viewing area and it wasn't something I had tuned to watch. Of course, once I saw the game, I was convinced that I could've done SOOO much better at it. :)
