at first glance: Wilson (A.C) graduated. Barlow is wrestling 160 and pretty sure that's the lowest he can go. Heath finished behind Utica, Northridge, and Newark Catholic at the Licking County meet. Heath has the "big 3" but outside of them they are not the 3rd best team.

Big two now. Heard Drumm is injured and out. Barlow's alpha is lower than 160, but not sure what his plans are but he should handle Cummings if he drops. No way Heath is the third best team. Not even sure they should be ranked at all.kennypowers;609684 wrote:at first glance: Wilson (A.C) graduated. Barlow is wrestling 160 and pretty sure that's the lowest he can go. What happened to Drumm? I knew Heath was going to have some tough kids this year. That Licking County meet was a tough one this year

To add to the poll's validity I think the Wilson (AC) listing needs to be removed. Great kid! But, hes in college now. Give the next generation its props

Yeah he'll be back in town from Annapolis this week. I'm sure he'll be thrilled to know he's still ranked. lol. Maybe it was meant to be Amanda's current 160 (Tipton), he's pretty good as well.

Barlow and Robinson are at 160 and 171 respectively... but should be at 152 and 160 before the season is over... i believe for medina...
Vorhovec for northridge is at 285 at this point in the season... not sure if he will be dropping or not...

125 Ankrom beats Branham. 130 Reichle way to much for Carroll. IMO

You'll have to wait and see if Ankrom beats Branham.....until he does, Branham will never lose him meaningless ranking from his father!!

ouch! when has he ever ranked him higher than he deserved? His father didn't wrestle for him last year at the state tournament.

I agree, Reichle is best at 130, and not only in central Ohio. Branham is at 119; Ankrom is 125. This week, should Ankrom cut to 119, he gets beat. If he goes 130, he gets beat. My guess is he goes 125; hope not. Would like to see a good match. lol

Ankrom beats Branham. Ankrom is one of the most underrated kids in Central, OH. IMO. I believe he is a 2 0r 3 time state qualifier already. Tough to find the podium when you draw Logan Steiber in the first round and the eventual third placer in your wrestle back.

Both guys are very tough. I got to watch Ankrom a lot out at the junior olympics and he was very impressive, but Braham is also a stud. Hopefully this one goes down!rassler;613159 wrote:Ankrom beats Branham. Ankrom is one of the most underrated kids in Central, OH. IMO. I believe he is a 2 0r 3 time state qualifier already. Don't think Ankrom will ever drop to 119....last year I believe he was at 130 before dropping to 125 for the state tournament

"Reichle is best at 130 and ...if he (Ankrom) goes 130, he gets beat. "
Research indicates two years ago Ankom pinned Reichle at districts, and last year they were both in the same weight class again, and Ankrom made it to state a second time, and Reichle didn't. So, can you help me understand what you are basing your statement on?

Ankrom is tough as nails.....will tilt you to death. Maybe a little under the radar since Bloom Carroll has not had the numbers to have any kind of team success the past few seasons. Don't let that fool you, that kid is one of the area's best.....without a doubt. I would love to see a Reichle rematch after reading Grumpy's post above!
