i think it's funny that they took his captain status away. i'd think after this he's at least earned that back.

Are you fucking serious. No it's a fucking sports it's not life or death. My best friend parents got their sons Medal of Honor because he died saving our squads life. He was a true hero doing his job.

That was a very impressive and very dedicated athlete ...if you never been hit with a slap shot ..you can't understand the mental toughtnesss of this play to face that physical hurt knowing the painful out come of his efforts .
