Downhill ………… sledding

Where do you go sled riding?
Our family goes to Malone College hill

What type of sled do you have?
We have a nine person toboggan, two round plastic disk, one good old fashion Western Flyer metal runner and one new type plastic sled that two people can sit in.

When we go sled riding it a family event all 11 to 15 people go.

After the sled riding it time for Hot Coco, Hot Wine ( Glühwein) and Hot Sloppy Joes by the fireplace. For me after a few glasses of hot wine a nap

We have a hill just beyond our backyard on the country club golf course named by the sled riders "suicide hill." Our kids make a day of sledding after a nice snow. Always a good time.

we used to go down egg house hill but they plow it all the time now. also have a road where i grew up they used to close every winter that an old man would bring out his tractors and make a rope contraption that took us back to the top of that hill it was awesome and saved alot of walking. I miss that old guy he would sit and laugh and go down the hill once in awhile but as he got older he quit and then they stopped closing the road as people started building houses all over the place.

haven't been sledding for a long time but used to go to either the Municipal Park where there was a big hill or down to Grigg's Resevoir
