I don't ever use the turnpike, but normally drive 70 up and down the 76/80 corridor. Kudos to them

It was great when they raised the truck limit to 65 on the interstates. But they should raise the car limit to 70. Or at least where there is 3 lanes on both sides.

they never ticket as long as you go under 80 anyways. doubt this will change anything.

How about 80 in the left lane and 70 in the right lane.
Get caught going slower than 79 in the left then you get a $500 ticket, a boot on your tire, and impounded for a week. That should work.

This only applies to the turnpike from what I heard.
If that's the case the primary reason would be to draw a larger amount of traffic to boost toll revenue.

I would rather the other interstates stay at 65. You ever wonder why Michigan and Indiana roads are so shitty? Having a higher speed limit=less funding for road upkeep. Ohio's roads are awesome, and I'd like to keep it that way.
