Yes. They seem to be 100% in agreement that the NFL is out to get the Steelers. You make a dumb comment like that and you deserved to get trolled, IMO. It's really hard to set troll guidelines on actual game threads, especially when it's a close game and tension is high. I wasn't really online yesterday (and the brief period I was, I decided my drunkenness wouldn't make anything better, as I'd just retaliate by going on the Browns-Bengals thread to mock Cleveland for losing to the BengFAILs), but it's hard to bust out people for trolling when it's a large group of people all going crazy at each other. You have guys like that holdingout douche who get off on jabbing and you have guys like Rock who blow up anything to insane proportions, so that thread was destined for self-destruction at some point in time.

I didn't really think there was any trolling on that thread. There was stuff that infraction worthy for personal attacks, but it is an ingame thread with mostly Pittsburgh dudes talking about the game...no matter how insane some of them looked.

I don't know. It's weird. Dude used to be this awesome bestower of information. He still is, but has added the art of trolling other teams and taking this total paranoid delusional stance towards refs -- both of which really blunt the goodness of the information. He reminds me of those "ref in the stands" people at the high school games I cover, where to them every single play has an uncalled foul against the other team and everything called on their team was ticky-tack stuff that the other team always gets away with. Teams have calls go for them and against them. It sucks when something happens in a crucial situation, but that's life. Didn't put a damper on my overall evening or anything. Definitely not to the point of what seems an extended-hours hissy-fit. To the point of making a sarcastic reference to the number of Cleveland fans who were posting on the thread when I finally posted on it today? Yes, but not to the point of filling three pages of posts with my tears.

kind of off subject, but my exwife was telling me that she was at her stepdaughters bball game Saturday and a parent was thrown out for yelling constantly at an official. She was yelling because one of the girls was camping in the lane.....on defense....lmao.

Those are the ones I love. I covered a girls' game once where Team A got called for a five-second ball-handling violation. Team B had the ball and a fan started yelling "1-2-3-4-5-C'MON!!!!!!" as they brought it up the court. Uhhh...dude...the five second count doesn't begin unless the defense is actually defending the ball-handler. Nothing like people screaming about rules they don't know exist...

Yeah, there is an inordinate amount of those people here. It is just a terrible sports town...but it is good for lulz.

I've been saying this for months, it's like someone flipped the switch and he went into to Bi-polar mode. He has some good info, then he'll bust out "Steeler fans know more about football, because the Steelers are a good team"!
