I just hope Warren can bounce back next year. We lose 19 kids, but, our starting QB will be back next year. His stats:
128 of 242
12int's
1668 yards
15 td's
185.3 yrd's per game

In the 25 years in the league, only one Championship, a Co-Championship( 1995). I cant wait to see how we do in 2011

The league will be without Marietta for the 2011 football season as they are leaving for the ECOL.

Will they be replaced? I had not heard this.

No, they will not be replaced. Next season the SEOAL will be made up of:

Logan Chieftains
Jackson Ironmen
Chillicothe Cavaliers
Portsmouth Trojans
Warren Local Warriors
Galliapolis Blue Devils

Zanesville, Ironton, and Marietta have all left within the last couple of years.

There was also talk that Jackson and another school, can't remember who it was, was trying to leave the SEOAL as well, but were denied. We've definitely got to try to get some more schools recruited into the league.

Wow, that would have been a blow, they have been in it since the beginning.

I honestly see Logan looking at other options within a few years too.

Why? They seem to be the staple holding the SEOAL together.

Granted, we had a bad year this year, but most years, the SEOAL does nothing to prepare us for the playoffs. Competition is a big reason IMO. I guess it's just wishful thinking on my part I guess? Maybe they will, maybe they won't, but I have been hearing rumors of it. If you want more SEOAL talk, go to www.southeasternohiopreps.com. Glad to have you on here! But there isn't too many people that post from that area on here.

I was wondering if there were many on here that represent the SEOAL.

Too long. Of course, the way this season went, we are going to need all the time we can to get better. Lol

I haven't heard, of course it will be:

Portsmouth
Chillicothe
Jackson
Gallia Academy
Warren
Lancaster
Nelsonville-York

Possibly
Reynoldsburg (We picked them up last season at the last minute after Hamilton Township backed out of their contract, don't know if it was just a 1 year deal or 2 years)
Don't know if Zanesville or Marietta will be on our schedule or not with them starting ECOL play this year.

I wouldn't think a school could be "denied" to leave the SEOAL with the appropriate notice. Maybe they were denied entry into another league that they wanted play in rather than the SEOAL.

No, I meant they were denied entry into the other leagues they were applying for.
