Over the years there have been many "tear jerker" sports stories. For a nice example, visit the following thread:

http://www.ohiochatter.com/forum/threads/20872-Tear-Jerker-moment-most-amazing-thing-I-ve-seen-in-a-long-time...

What I am asking... There have been video clips, news stories, etc. of many of these types of heart warming stories. Would the Chatter be willing to dig and share these different "tear jerker" stories in a collected thread?

Please share vids, if you have them, can find them, etc.

12 minutes long but still a good one if you have time to watch it. E60 does a lot of these kind of stories.

Pretty cool story about a kid from my area. I actually spoke with him a few times and he is quite the character. He received a special ESPY and national media attention.

And a video of the run. I couldn't find the ESPY video so this will do:

Pup.....that was awesome...was on the ESPY show and the ESPY is in the Northwest trophy case....AWESOME

THe kid from Hillsboro who graduated 2 or 3 years ago and and had NO arms or legs and made the state wrestling tournament....chilling Dustin Carder?

Watching live....the 400m olympian from England (Derek Redmond? maybe) in 1992, pulled up with a hamstring tear after the first 100m.....collapsed, got up hopped, walked, hobbled.....stopped 100 m short and then his dad comes out of the stands to help him the last 100....damn.....I have to fight the tears just typing about that.
