I remember when this tournament used to be HUGE. Maybe I'm getting old. But, some of these weight classes and seedings dont seem to be quite as good as they used to be. Just an observation.

with Fiorucci being the 1st seed and hunter being 4th seed, wouldnt that put them in the same half of the bracket? very unfortunate if this is true... that would make a great final!!

Fiorucci beats Hunter 6-2 in semi's according to online results. Olentangy with two more in the finals, Caleb Hetterscheidt (152) and Alex Stinemetz (215). Good luck to the Olentangy boys. Clearly one of my favorite tourneys to attend when my son was wrestling.

Great job Olentangy and West Jefferson representing Central Ohio. Olentangy finished 3rd, West jefferson 7th. Sean Prather (WJ) took the 160lb title with a win over Bryant of Piqua. Tyler Reichle (WJ) lost in the semi finals to Alfredo Gray of Wadsworth then beat Dyer (Holt Michigan) to take 3rd at 130lbs. Solid tournament , 36 teams, 32 man brackets. Ran a bit long the first night 1:30am , but the late start due to the rat-tails before the first rd forced things to get started a little late. The team out of Penn. (Canon) was solid. Of coarse Wadsworth is Wadsworth and Holt (Michigan) along with Wheeling & Huntington WV made for a nice two days of wrestling.
