I didn't venture out to buy much, but I did snag this deal today....it may be a little confusing...

slickdeals had this listed and it worked.

So Gamestop currently has 3 different promotions going on right now.
-Trade in any game get 50% trade in bonus
-Buy 2 Get 1 Free on all used games and accessories
-Power Saver Sale - select games 10-60% off

If you buy two copies of Fable 3 used for the 360, and any other game of your choosing at 54.99 Used, AKA Black Ops, Brotherhood etc.

Have the sales associate ring up the 2 fable games first and the Black Ops last. Black Ops will ring up as the free game, and then both fables will be discounted to 34.99. The total comes to 68.xx if you have their card, 75.xx without one.

Using the trade-in promotion, Fable 3 trades in for 25, plus an additional 12.50 for the promotion. With their card, you get 40.00 for each Fable, thus making 12 dollars in store credit, and keeping your free game. Without their card, 37.50 for each, making no extra money, but keeping the free game!
___________________________________________________________________________________

Basically, I got a game I wanted for a total of $67 and after trading in the Fable games I got an additional $80 of store credit. Not too shabby.

What is your best deal?

I got a pretty good tv about a month or so ago. i have an employee discount for 15%, had a 20% discount card from sony, and our company puts out a small news paper type thing each month with adds in it for employees which had another 20% discount for all electronics. So I got 55% off of a sony tv. It was a 50" 1080 160 and price was something like 1200 but got it for little over 500 with a 6yr warranty. For some reason i got it cheaper then i shouldve. I did some math and I think they didnt charge me for the warranty cause the numbers were right for the tv but not for the tv and warranty. I called to make sure my warranty was good and it was so im not worried about it now.

I'm slightly confused here... Is the Black Ops game used? You spent money, but in the process recouped money, so you netted a profit?! How long does this deal last?

Yeah, it was a used copy. I think it was yesterday only. The key to it was that fable paid more to trade in than to buy it

2 copies of Life on Blu Ray for $14 shipped from Barnes and Noble.

Saw the deal on slickdeals a few weeks back, tried to cancel when I heard people were receiving the DVD version by mistake instead of the Blu Ray Version....Both of my orders shipped anyways, only charged for 1 so far....
