Barberton continues a great tradition in Basketball. Kenny Rector, who I have known for a long time, has done a nice job keeping Barberton basketball in the limelight as one of the strong programs in the state of Ohio. I graduated from Barberton in 1975, when the Mini Magics and the mega superstar team of the Bodnar twins, Carter Scott and Fred Grisby played and won a state title in the 75-76 season.
