Verbal Commitment came through today. Very under-recruited back only other Big Offer was from Wisconsin. Rumors of a back-door OSU offer were floating around earlier in the week, but theres not much footing behind them.

Jamel Poteat will be visiting this week after Wandstache's firing he may re-open his recruiting and UC was high on his list early in the recruiting process. Would be another huge pickup.

Here's a highlight film STRAIGHT STUD.

I watched 2 players going to Cinci during the championship weekend. Shaq Washington and Teague. Both studs.

Super excited for Shaq to come down. He's our guy. He's out recruiting his buddies and friends from various camps that he attended. I believe he was down on campus this weekend. He had one hell of a game in the Finals, really put his team on his shoulders.

Must be a good reason Tressel didn't make an offer.

Tressel most likely didn't make an offer because of his size. He is a stud though.

Teague or Pead? They seem similar or am I off my rocker?

Pead was a little bigger than Teague coming out of HS. He has bulked up quite well at UC the last couple of years. I am excited about seeing Shaq Washington and Askie Teague playing in Butch Jones system the next few years. UC is currently also taking steps to shore up the defense in this recruiting class. Despite the poor season UC football is not over by any stretch of the imagination. They will be competing for the BE crown again very soon.

Congrats to Teague.

However ,most Major programs backed off because Teague is 5'6/5'7 and maybe 170. Maybe. He should play some at Cincy but I don't see him as a star there. KR/PR & probable slot WR. Despite the title of Mr. Football , there is better talent around & the coaches know it.

Hopefully we can Redshirt him and tack on 20 pounds of muscle. We ran a power back under coach Dantonio, but under Kelly and so far under Jones we're sticking with the small quick backs. So we'll see. Hopefully he contributes alot.

Congrats to Teague on a great accomplishment. I was really hoping he'd end up a Buckeye, I thought OSU could use his explosive style. With so many undersized guys doing big things I'd be surprised if his size was the main reason. Some of the things I've read from Duane Long have said it was more about OSU having bigger needs at other positions.
