This is cool, but I hate to see all this coverage for a young kid. It says that colleges are already looking at him. It would be nice if people would just let this kid be a kid. In about 5 or 6 years....he will probably have an ego like Lebron.

Awesome dunk! 2016?? I sincerely hope this kid has some strong, level headed people in his corner who are able to help guide him in the right direction so he doesn't end up like another Lebron; his inner circle kissing his fanny, telling him whatever he wants to hear because he is their meal ticket.

Not many 11 year olds in 7th grade. I think that number might be off.

And consider me 100% not surprised that Baylor was the school to send him the recruiting questionnaire. Scott Drew is as shady as they come.

He was probably moved up a grade by some shady recruiter when he was in 2nd grade. Trying to get him in some high profile college when he turns 12.

I remember back when I heard about a kid in Jr. High who could dunk. Just so happened that his name was O.J. Mayo. This sorta thing happens every once in a while I suppose.

I had a kid on my 8th grade team that I coached that could dunk. Again, he was 6'3" so it's not like it's that big of a surprise. He is now at Dayton on basketball scholly also.

I think the thing that shocks people is the age more than anything.

In the test tube with genetically engineered fertilization. Recruiters will be scouting sperm and eggs.

Nice dunk though for a kid of that age. The video said he was 11 and in 6th grade and was 6'-2" at the time of the video. A lot of times kids at that age that grow that fast are not yet able to handle their bodies with that kind of skill.
