Nowhere does he throw his team under the bus or imply that he wishes he was at a different school. I mean we talk every year how teams like Hawaii and Texas Tech(with Leach) pad the stats of the QB and that their offenses aren't a true measure of a QB. Yet, with wide open offenses that rely on the QB running, we do not consider that they pad the stats a bit too.

Honestly, I don't see how the things you quoted change anything discussed here.

I stated my opinion. He needs to keep his mouth shut instead of putting his foot in his mouth. And then in my next and only other post, I said what I though about his comments. Nothing more than that. People tried roasting me since I started the topic (if a bucks fan would of it wouldnt of been a big deal) but then we soon find out, that a bunch of bucks fans dont agree with him saying that either. I would of posted a topic like this no matter who the QB was with comments like that, that they cant back up.

It just puts the remarks into its proper context. I personally think it makes the first post seem a lot different when I know why he was even talking about the other offenses in the first place.

I thought this was interesting. Looking up Pryor's stats compared to Smith's stats in 2006, Pryor has 400 more rushing yards, higher completion percentage, more passing yards, more rushing touchdowns, more receiving touchdowns(just 1 on a trick play), and more yards per attempt. He did throw less TDs, more interceptions, and had a slightly lower QB rating. It's just interesting that Troy Smith(with a better offense around him) won the Heisman going away with similar stats as Pryor, yet Pryor cannot even get second team all Big Ten. Now in no way do I think he has been as good as Smith was in 2006(minus Florida), but I can see where his frustration comes from.

TP has a higher completion percentage(two years younger too) than Troy did his Heisman winning season. Not to mention, our wide receivers were really deep that year compared to this year where we only have two receivers we can rely on.

I posted all this in another thread and the haters just ignored it. Pryor is 1 good bowl game away from having an overall better season than the great TS had his Heisman year.

You asked me about TP and the Michigan defense and referenced his ability to run. Im not stinging over the loss, im simply telling you he didnt run all over michigan @ all.

guess you were just waiting to throw out the 3-0 number though like most chest thumping buckeye fans

FWIW....DR had 108 yards rushing. Would you say he ran all over the OSU defense?? I think the answer to that is an obvious NO. Stats aren't always the only thing to go by.

If you average 5 yards a carry and break 100 yards(against a VERY good defense), Id say you had a pretty damn good game rushing. When you rush 12 times and get 49 yards, its not exactly impressive (especially against UM's defense)

Im not saying Pryor cant run, but referencing this game would be a bad example

Who the hell cares? He plays the position pretty damn well. He is by no means the nations best quarterback, and might never take a snap behind center in the NFL. However, as long as he stays commited to getting better and wins games, I could careless what he does in the NFL. He's not going to dominate a ball game the way Newton does, simply because OSU's offense doesn't allow it. He's a helluva football player. His size will restrict how elusive he is. He's competitive, and it shows in his remarks. As long as he stays that way and wins ball games, I don't give a damn what he says.
