I put the date in the header as to remind you that it is VERY early. Also, I stole this out of the Rankings thread. Thought I'd make a thread for the OCC.

Let's break it down...

OCC-Capital
1. Mt. Vernon (Will be a GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!! dual with Orange)
2. Olentangy Orange (Will be a GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!! dual with Mt. Vernon)
3. Big Walnut (Solid. Could be switched with Bradley.)
4. Hilliard Bradley (Solid. Could be switched with Big Walnut. Is this their first year with a senior class??? If so, it could be a difference maker.)
5. Delaware Hayes
6. New Albany
7. Watkins Memorial
8. Franklin Heights

OCC-Cardinal
1. Olentangy Liberty Patriots (I'd pay money to see the Patriots dual the Braves! Wait... if I want to see the dual, I suppose I'd have to pay, huh!?)
2. Olentangy Braves (Anyone know WHERE and WHEN the dual vs. O. Lib will be???)
3. Marysville Monarchs (Not out of the hunt at all. I just thought I'd list divisions without ties.)
4. Westerville North Warriors (Has the coaching and capability to move up.)
5. Dublin Jerome Celtics
6. Westerville Central Warhawks
7. Westerville South Wildcats
8. Dublin Scioto Irish (Actually, this is not true. I'm not sure where they'll fit in, but I thought I'd have a little fun with the maddog!)

OCC-Central
1. Hilliard Davidson Wildcats (I heart grief.)
2. Hilliard Darby Panthers (Always strong and always deep.)
3. Worthington Kilbourne Wolves (Pretty tough throughout.)
4. Dublin Coffman Shamrocks (I'll get my first taste of the Shamrocks this Saturday. Come get some, Bobby! ;))
5. Central Crossing Comets (Regained the big guns; we'll see how it goes in a dual meet.)
6. Upper Arlington Golden Bears
7. Galloway Westland Cougars
8. Thomas Worthington Cardinals

OCC-Ohio
1. Gahanna-Lincoln Lions (It's a little known fact that Gahanna did indeed beat Pick. North in a dual last year.)
2. Pickerington North Panthers (Very good, top to bottom.)
3. Lancaster Golden Gales (Very improved. Must've been that over-the-summer wrestling! :D)
4. Grove City Greyhounds (Could very easily move up 1, 2, or 3 spots by late January.)
5. Pickerington Central Tigers (Year #2 of the Jacket. Watch out!)
6. Reynoldsburg Raiders
7. Newark Wildcats
8. Groveport-Madison Cruisers (That's the way the old ball bounces sometimes.)

REMEMBER!!!!!!!!!!!! I've seen results of half of these teams... maybe half of half (which would be a quarter if I'm not mistaking!). To predict the outcomes now of each league would take supernatural powers... powers that I do NOT possess.

I'm a fan like the rest of you. I look forward to big matches! I'm not concerned all that much with outcomes. If Dublin Coffman wins their OCC, it won't effect me. Heck, if we win our OCC, it won't be life changing. The above statements are not written in stone. Losses happen. Also, I don't hate any team above. In fact it's the opposite.

Best of luck, and sthee you sthoon!

Manifesto complete.

Told you, dad4sports! I was unaware of the Big Walnut situation. That's too bad. But Coach Moore is good. We'll see how it shakes out. The Seniors at Bradley will make the differences. That kind of leadership in the room is needed. Not to mention Coach Riggs knows what he's doing!!! :D

3 really good 125's (don't know about UA) will battle it out. Donatelli (Darby), Haslam (Westland), and Alexander (Coffman) should have some really good matchups......

You see, that doesn't help me. The Port is in Newark that night. And after checking with about 4 or 5 maps, they all have Newark PRETTY far from Olentangy. I started to notice a trend so I stopped consulting maps. Unless the earth shifts within the next month, I will be unable to attend that dual. And that is too bad. Again, I would have paid money to see it.

You were right Dad except Logwell and Donatelli both bumped so there were great matches between Haslam and Longwell going 1-0 for Longwell.
Alexander beat Haslam in OT 3-1.

Darby beat Westland(50 something-15) and UA(35-30) while
Coffman beat UA(? comfortably) and shut out Westland(alot-0).
Sorry but I dont remember all the scores.

Coffman looks real strong.

I saw that and also saw Hutchins pinned him. Was it close for a while or did BH control it from the get go before he got the pin?

I may have missed Coffman and Pick. Central's strength. Granted, it could be because I made the projections after the first weekend, but, let's not let those details get in the way!!!
